Begin Here

You don't need to have everything figured out before asking for help.

Whether you're looking for answers for the first time or seeking a fresh perspective on your care, the first step is simply beginning the conversation. Choose how you'd like to schedule below.

Booking Steps

How scheduling works.

1

Choose your appointment

Select "Private Pay" or "Insurance" below and find a time that works. If this is your first visit, choose the "New Patient Visit" (60 minutes). Double-check the time zone shown before confirming.

2

Complete your intake

You'll receive instructions to complete registration, consents, and any required questionnaires through the secure patient portal. Have your medication list and any relevant prior-treatment information on hand.

3

Connect from a comfortable, private space

We'll meet by video call using Zoom, through the appointment link sent by the practice. You can connect from home with a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera, microphone, and internet connection. You must be physically located in Texas for these appointments.

Choose Your Path

Private pay or insurance.

Private Pay

Pay directly for your care

Initial psychiatric evaluation: $190 · Follow-up visits: $90. Sliding-scale fees may be available based on financial need and availability.

Insurance

Using Insurance Benefits

Schedule through Headway to use an accepted insurance plan and securely provide your insurance information. Accepted plans: Aetna, Ascension, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna, Oscar, Oxford, and UnitedHealthcare. See full insurance details →

Out-of-network benefits: If your insurance is not in network, some commercial insurance plans may reimburse part of your cost through out-of-network benefits. You may instead choose Pay Directly for Your Care and request a superbill to submit to your insurer.

Out-of-network reimbursement is not guaranteed. Please check your benefits directly with your insurance company before scheduling.

Schedule with Insurance
No Surprises Act

Good Faith Estimate.

Under the federal No Surprises Act, patients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before scheduled care — provided in writing at least 1 business day before your appointment (3 business days if your appointment is scheduled at least 10 days out), or any time you request one.

To request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling, contact our office using the phone number or email in the footer below.

If your actual bill is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.

TODO(roger): confirm GFE wording and dispute instructions, including how patients reach the federal Patient-Provider Dispute Resolution process.

Jauregui Psychiatry is an outpatient practice and does not provide emergency psychiatric services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988), or go to your nearest emergency room.
