Website Privacy Policy

How this website handles information.

This policy covers use of jaureguipsychiatry.com only. It is separate from the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive as a patient, which governs how your protected health information is used in the course of clinical care.

Draft — pending attorney review

This page is a placeholder built to replace a dead footer link while the site was being prepared for launch. It has not yet been reviewed by an attorney or compliance professional and should not be relied on as a final policy. Please have it reviewed before treating it as complete.

Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Jauregui Psychiatry ("we," "us," or "the practice") handles information in connection with your use of this website. It does not describe how we handle protected health information (PHI) collected as part of your clinical care — that is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, provided separately as part of the intake process, consistent with HIPAA.

Information we collect

This website does not currently include any forms, so we do not automatically collect personal information through it. If you contact us by phone or email, we use the information you choose to share only to respond to your inquiry and, where applicable, to help coordinate your care.

Automatically collected information

We do not currently use analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels on this website, and this site does not set cookies. Standard technical information (such as your browser type) may be visible to our hosting provider simply as a function of how the web works, but it is not used by us for tracking or advertising purposes.

Third-party services

  • Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's font service, which involves a request to Google's servers.
  • Google Maps — our footer links out to Google Maps to show our office location. This opens in a new tab and is subject to Google's own privacy policy, not ours.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect information shared with us, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive health details by unencrypted email; call our office instead if you'd prefer to discuss anything sensitive by phone.

Children's privacy

We provide psychiatric care to adolescents as part of our clinical practice, with appropriate parental or guardian involvement as required by applicable law. This website itself is not designed to collect information from children, and we do not knowingly do so.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information collected about you. If you have questions about information you've shared with us, please contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
